On Wednesday, February 11, officers with the Huntsville Police Department responded to a report of possible child sexual abuse.
HPD’s Special Victims Unit was assigned to lead the investigation.
Investigators developed information indicating that children were subjected to inappropriate sexual contact while in the care of Hazen Clark Crampton, 39, of Madison.
He was charged with two counts of Sexual Abuse of a Child Less Than 12 (Fondling) and one count of First-Degree Sodomy involving a victim under the age of 12.
